  • Down the road and over the hill

'Down the road and over the hill’ is the first in a series of three surrealist drawings titled'The Journey’, inspired by my cat Sheba’s one-week adventure into the unknown. The original artwork was created using black ink fineliners and cotton paper.

  • Stillness of mind, presence of heart

'Stillness of mind, presence of heart’, my largest ink drawing to date, is a reflection on our shared human longing to immortalise moments of profound beauty. The original artwork measures 594 x 420 mm and it was created using black ink fineliners on bristol board.

  • Jane Austen

In 2021 I was inspired to create a series of portraits of literary greats, together with their homes. And not just any portraits, but oversized ones, to match the everlasting awesomeness of their work. One of these beloved giants is Jane Austen and her cottage in Chawton, Hampshire, where she lived for the last 8 years of her life and wrote many of her novels.

  • The Brontë Sisters

Three of Britain’s most beloved and celebrated writers were born in the same family and lived in the same house for most of their lives: Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë.

Inspired by their life and work, I created this surrealist triple portrait of the Brontë Sisters and their home in Haworth, West Yorkshire, where they wrote the great novels that have touched so many people’s hearts.

  • William Shakespeare

My latest addition to the ‘Literary Houses' print collection is a piece that pays homage to the timeless genius of William Shakespeare.

Rendered in a classic ink drawing style reminiscent of old book illustrations, this artwork portrays Shakespeare himself towering over the 16th century Tudor house in Stratford-upon-Avon where he was born and spent his childhood.
