About the artwork
In 2021 I was inspired to create a series of portraits of literary greats, together with their homes. And not just any portraits, but oversized ones, to match the everlasting awesomeness of their work. One of these beloved giants is Jane Austen and her cottage in Chawton, Hampshire, where she lived for the last 8 years of her life and wrote many of her novels. This year, inspiration hit again and I drew an ornamental frame to complement the antique charm of the original drawing.
